The 19th annual Catawba Valley Hamfest was held Saturday April 18th, 2016 at the Burke County Fair Grounds. Both Charlotte Regional Skywarn & Piedmont Spotter Group were there setup just outside the main building. Boy, you couldn’t have asked for better weather! We had a great time meeting familiar faces as well as some new ones, and a great time was had. Greg Huffman shook plenty of “paws” and Lee Sossamon signed plenty of autographs (I think Bruce Springsteen was the most popular one requested Hi Hi). We’re looking forward to next year.
